Cut the stamp off the envelope with about half a cm from the stamp. Prepare a clean, pan or bowl with some WARM water. Not steam, boiling, or cold water. Place the stamp face down and let sit about 10 minutes. Do not touch the stamp at all. After 10 minutes, the stamp will detach from the paper, and the paper will float away while the stamp sinks. Take the stamp using stamp tongs or tweezers. Get a piece of cloth that is not rugged ie: T-shirt, Pillowcase, or paper towel and place face down. Let stamp dry without covering stamp. Once stamp is dry, cover with cloth and place heavy items like a couple of books on top and let sit for one night. In the morning, remove stamps and add to collection.
