- H. H. Scott, Inc. Founded by Hermon Hosmer Scott in 1947, H.H. Scott, Inc. was one of the top hi-fi brands sold in the U.S. during the "Golden Age" of the vacuum tube. Other similar brands included Fisher, Marantz, McIntosh, and Harman Kardon. H.H. Scott sold some of the earliest FM Stereo Multiplex tuners and receivers.
